In our lifetime, we confront with so many glamorous yet milestone moments. One would agree that from all the joyous moments in our life, our wedding day will be the most cherished and most extravagant moment. Images and videos of celebrity and grand weddings, décor suggestions from various websites would eventually create a hefty wedding file and yet our minds will probably search for more just to make our special day bit more unique than others we see.

Planning such an enormous yet colorful event can be full of stress and confusing and if not planned well, the biggest day in your life can simply be an ordinary, unpleasant and a day with a lot of blemishes. Normally we start planning our wedding ceremonies years ahead; which is the best way to do it, but there are numerous things which one needs to clarify and keep in our minds before going ahead searching for vendors. One of the key things to be clarified before planning a wedding is to know your budget and its limitations. This is where most of the couples go wrong as they try and meet a few vendors and finish spending large portions of their money and ending up helpless when need to pay for the rest. For example, if a couple spends heavily on beauticians and photographers and goes for a very low budget floral decors, the entire ceremony would lose its ambiance. A couple might spend lavishly to a dancing team but hire the service of a below-average wedding band which eventually won’t entertain the guests as they prefer. A larger portion of the budget should be allocated to the wedding hall and for refreshments. The number of guests who will be invited to grace your wedding day can act a major part in increasing or decreasing your budget. It is essential to have a clear idea of the average number of invitees you’ll have for your wedding which stabilizes the budget and prevents it to exceed with final moment inclusions which we normally do at any given event. It is vital to know your strength of affordability because it automatically directs you to the vendors who can cater within your desired budget. A wedding budget should be very carefully managed; identifying how much from the total budget as a percentage should be paid to a vendor is critical, to make all facets of a wedding ceremony to be extravagant. It is always better to add a few more currencies to the others column in your wedding budget, just to be on a safer side and also to be used when an urgent requirement arises. A professional wedding planner is a master of budget planning since he is equipped with contacts of various vendors in the wedding trade and clearly knows how much from the total budget should be allocated to specific vendor criteria.
