After carefully planning out your budget, you can then start looking out for the vendors to cater your needs. But first it is imperative to decide on a theme for your wedding. The theme and its colours should match your dresses, decors, cake structure, cake packing and the invitations. Therefore, when selecting a vendor, one should be vigilant to know whether the selected vendor has the ability to meet your demands. 

The most difficult part in planning your wedding is searching the most suitable vendor for you. There are hundreds of quality vendors in the trade and picking the right one would be tricky and exhausting experience. A couple can buy a wedding magazine, visit a wedding exhibition, ask for opinions from friends and relatives on vendors or simply can consult a professional wedding planner who has worked with tons of vendors in various types of wedding ceremonies and will have a clear idea on which vendor can meet the client’s expectations. Some wedding planners can bargain with the vendors and arrange you discounts as well which is almost impossible if you choose to speak to a vendor directly. The key vendors you should reserve initially would be the hotel or the location of the celebration, beautician, photographer, wedding band and the florist. Majority of your budget would be allocated to the five vendors above and it is vital to reserve them initially before they become unavailable for you. 

The location of your ceremony should be able to accommodate the total number of guests in your mind and better if it is situated in an area not too far away for majority of your guests. Before selecting the time of the day of your ceremony, you should have the list of auspicious times of the ceremonial day which can be arranged by an astrologist. You can briefly select a menu category but simply doesn’t need to confirm the items in it, which can be finalized with rest of requirement from the hotel such as Podium, champagne fountain, presentation sceens etc at the final discussions just weeks before the ceremony. 

Theme of the wedding should be clearly discussed with the beautician, florist, cake structure designer, photographer and the invitation and cake packaging suppliers. The latest designs to match your theme will already be available with them but it is better if you go with new and unique designs. A professional wedding planner can assist you in drawing new designs and he will make sure that all vendors will work in unison to match their work to your theme.

If the budget permits, the client can go for unique table liners and seat covers to change the atmosphere of the wedding hall. Draping the entire hall and by adding colour wash which matches the theme would add glamour and ambiance to the celebration. Client can offer special give aways such as sweets or ornaments to guests with the wedding cake piece and arrange snacks such as cashew, mixture, savoury biscuits with cheese etc to be placed on the guest tables. Some couples prefer to arrange special seating facilities and if so, it should be done carefully without keeping out any names of guests to avoid any confuses.
